Book Review: Dawn of War by Tim Marquitz

In this first book of the Blood War Trilogy, Arrin is in exile from his home country when he sees the monstrous Grol batter down the neighboring kingdom. He travels to his country and and reports to the king that the Grol are going to destroy the kingdom. The king despises Arrin and kicks him out, but it was too late. The Grol had arrived and crushed the walls around the city with mystical magical weapons. Arrin and his friends barely survived. The others had perished and were eaten by the Grol. Don’t miss out on this 669-page book filled with action and adventure. I would  rate this book 4 stars out of 5 because at first the story was kind of boring, but it picked up the pace near the middle and at the end.
